What is Library Awareness? It's your chance to really explore the Bethel Public Library! Here are some highlights...
Be one of the first Library patrons to get a Centennial Library Card. As a Bethel resident you may have a regular Bethel Library card at no cost, but for a nominal fee of $2, you can get a Centennial card! If you already have a card, you can exchange it for the Centennial card for $2. All proceeds go to the Capital Campaign to finish the Library.
Find out what goes on behind-the-scenes at your Library! You'll see displays of "back-of-the-house" operations, and take tours of the unfinished second floor and staff areas.
Check out the exhibit case for memorabilia from the Library's past, and view our Art Gallery of vintage photographs.
Free Centennial pencils while supplies last!
Get a head start on our Community Read featuring Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicki Myron. We have a limited number of copies for sale right now, so get here early! Proceeds will benefit the capital campaign.
Please visit the Bethel Public Library some time this week to see what we've been up to for the last 100 years!
